Refunds, deposits, and missed sittings

These rules apply to commissioned briefing work: board-pack KPI dashboards, cadence charters, KPI definition workshops, and pack reviews. This site does not sell physical goods, software seats, or downloadable installers.

Eligibility

A full refund is available if we have not started interviews, markup, or write-up, and you cancel in writing at least seven days before the first reserved sitting. A pack review that has not yet been opened is treated as not started.

Timeframe

Send a refund request to contact@releasepathgrid.digital within 14 days of the event that triggers it (cancellation, our material breach, or a sitting we cancelled and could not rebook inside 21 days).

Full or partial

If interviews have begun but the canvas is not frozen, we refund fees minus time already spent at the day rate stated in the quote. After a freeze date agreed in writing, remaining work is not refundable except where we fail to deliver the agreed canvas or charter.

Non-refundable items

Facilitated workshop seats cancelled inside 48 hours, travel already purchased for an agreed Mableton sitting with your written approval, and definition sheets already signed by owners.

Process

Email the engagement name, sitting dates, and reason. We confirm in writing what is refundable. Approved refunds go back by the same method as the original payment within 14 working days of confirmation.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a workshop or markup day once without fee if you give five working days’ notice. Later changes may be billed as a missed sitting. We may reschedule for illness; we will offer a new date inside 21 days.

Deposits

Flagship commissions typically take a 30% deposit to hold the six-week window. The deposit is credited to the fee. It is refundable under the seven-day unused rule above; otherwise it covers time reserved.

No-shows

If no one from your side attends a reserved sitting and you have not cancelled, that day is billed and is not refundable.

Work already started

Markup, interviews, and write-up already performed are charged. Unused later weeks can be cancelled with a partial refund as described above.

Purchased materials

We do not buy print runs on your behalf as a product line. If you ask us to print a pack locally and we have already paid a printer, that cost is not refundable.

Exceptions

If we miss a freeze we ourselves promised and the sitting cannot use the canvas, you may refuse the deliverable and receive a full refund of fees for that engagement. Disagreement about a vanity count being demoted is not a defect.
